- Understanding Software Development Methodology

- Ability to write understandable test documentation (test cases, test plans)
- Ability to work with defect accounting systems
- Knowing what a bug’s life cycle is
- SQL level - read data from a table with filters, join two tables by key fields
- General knowledge of Web-technology, understanding why and where it is used: xml, css, html, http, dns
- Work experience with Windows and Linux

- Analysis and clarification of requirements with a customer or business analysts
- Planning the testing process
- Writing test cases (test scripts)
- Functional Testing
- Identification of problem areas, their inclusion in the tracking system
- Discussion of fixes with developers
- Error Life Tracking
- Re-test of fixed defects
- Testing Analysis
- Test process optimization
- Analysis of teamwork
- Process improvement
- Creating test documentation
